Local e-commerce

Veando allows customers to teleport to their local merchants thanks to video.

On Veando, the customer connects "face to face" via video with the merchant, and can therefore, just like in a store:

chat and benefit from the merchant's advice
see the products
create the "ticket" live (the merchant enters it, the customer sees it appear in real time on their screen)
place an order anonymously (creating a customer account is not required)

Once the order is created, the video connection ends and the customer pays online by credit card. They can pick up their order in store or have it delivered to their home.

Video makes it possible to move away from the classic e-commerce model (with catalog, cart, stock management, etc.) and to adapt the online relationship to local commerce.

Webcam support by the browser

For both the merchant and the customer, access to Veando is free, and does not require any specific device or application to download: thanks to WebRTC technology, the browser takes control of the webcam integrated into the computer, tablet, or even the phone.

Front / rear cameras

With one click, the merchant can switch between the front and rear camera of their device, allowing them to alternate between "face-to-face" discussion phases and product presentation phases.

"Multi-device" management

Showing products with your phone and entering the order on your computer or tablet is possible! The Veando application allows the merchant to manage the same client session on several devices. They can even switch their video stream from one device to another.

Comprehensive features

Veando also manages:

Geolocation, allowing you to quickly search for nearby merchants on a map
Delivery, taking into account the rates charged by the local delivery company
Payment by credit card (with automatic distribution between the delivery person and the merchant)
Time slot management: the merchant can choose to accept calls only during off-peak hours
Low-bandwidth video communication, to be able to communicate even on 3G
Electronic signature of merchant contracts (to make registration easier)
